Automobiles create a whole new phase of motion but, at the same time, pedestrians are experiencing the heavy traffic around them. However, in this project, the suffocating pressure created by heavy traffic can be transformed into a unique reflection of a prosperous city.

The “Speed Deconstruction” is an interface set beside the curb, which creates a new connection between pedestrians and vehicles. The interface is a grille made of duralumin bars combined with glass in a twisted form. Each duralumin bar can be rotated by wind individually. In that way, speed can be “visualized”.

Through refraction of lights, the interface harmoniously blends the traffic flow and pedestrians into a scene of urban “motion”.

軍旅-花圃規劃

軍旅生涯漫漫，能再碰觸設計是一件非常難得的事情。

本案子是一個花圃的規劃，以簡單經濟為考量，延續原有的坡度以磚為材料沿等高線延伸，而在不同的高程區域，則以不同的鋪面來呈現，原設定為草坪中以人工材料(廢棄磁磚、碎石等)穿插，形成一具簡單曲線的花圃空間。

而花圃上則擺放立體的識別圖樣，這樣的規劃係期望能使用既有的材料，創造具動感的空間，柔化整體氛圍，此外原本亦著手進行一些細部的規劃，然而此案仍然屬於需要許多資源的選項，我想最後被採用的機會也不高吧？

「提案」大門設計

先談談最近在事務所中做的設計，一個大門。

這是關於台中第一個育幼院的大門設計，建築師提到一個有趣的想法，關於互動。這也是我信仰的，建築（或是任何裝置）應該是能透過人的行為，而進行其生命的延續，而建築，也必須乘載著歷史的脈絡，或是當個時空凝結的象徵。

因此，我們創造了由圓圈所聯繫組成的圖案，企圖訴說育幼院所孕育出生命的聯繫關係，並期望透過孩童的自由放置彩球，形成聯繫圖案的背景，與其隱含的意象再呼應，並讓大門有無限多種可能的色彩，與表情。這樣充滿有機的變化，與乘載的歷史意義，構成的大門意象，會是極具生命的，正如育幼院所期待帶來的那些。
